spreading the holiday cheer

i've been getting an overwhelming number of emails lately. some are positive, but the overwhelming majority are not. so, in the spirit of chrismukkah here's some more fan mail:

Dear Mr. IJC blogger,

You sound like the biggest loser. Granted some of your
posts are mildly amusing and you seem to have
characterized the stereotype of the JAP that many
young Jewish women from the ny/nj suburbs typify.  So
what?  I also grew up in the waspy farmlands of new
jersey, and being jewish had my own inevitable
distasteful run-in with the jap culture.  But unlike
you, I got over it and moved on.  You need to get a
life.  In what ways are you less superficial?  What
have you done for humanity lately or for personal
enrichment or betterment?  You are just an angry,
selfish person who thrives on denigration of others
and perpetuating hurtful stereotypes.  Not only that,
you are using your despising of other people as an
excuse for doing nothing with your life but
perpetuating your own misery.  Twenty years from now,
you will look back at your own youth and basically
just have an angry, spiteful, heart to look fondly on.
I'll say it again: get a life!!!!!

maybe it's just me, but how does someone write an email like that and then say that i'm angry?

some of you might remember the girl i wrote about who just didn't get it. well, apparently she still doesn't get it.

So I just saw the blog and you totally twisted my email to make me 
seem like the IJC you love to write about.  1) Am not living above 
my means on my parents dollar - I pay for everything myself.  2) I 
did not receive a new BMW/Jetta for my 17th birthday - in fact my 
dad wouldnt buy me a new car because he didnt think young inexperienced 
drivers should be at liberty with a $50,000 present.  3) I do not work 
in PR!  4) I read the NY Times because I am interested in the news, not 
because I'm trying to be something I'm not - you were the one who said 
in a posting that IJC's only read gossip mags - If you're going to post 
emails to your blog site, you shouldnt reversion them to suit your needs
- you're only making people think Jewish girls are superficial, money-
grubbing, daddy's girls.  What do you gain by making people look bad?

and finally, i knew this was bound to happen. if i only knew who this girl was perhaps i could reconsider and maybe give her a second chance. then again, after re-reading her email i probably wouldn't  want to date her anyway...we obviously have nothing in common.

It was interesting to receive an email from one of my friends with a link to my pictures on your website. Now I'm curious. Funny how you have lumped me into this group of stereotypical new york jewish girls, seeing as everyone who knows me considers me the antithesis thereof...never watched the Bachelor, don't own a pair of jeans that costs more than $60, don't wear white tank tops, don't live in Murray Hill, and haven't had Tasti-d-lite but once this year. But, hey, I suppose you're entitled to your opinion.

fight fair dick! i was just thinking of a few things reading this. what was once a funny topic, where I agreed amusingly with your observations, has begun to backfire and get this...i'm feeling kind of bad for the "IJC"s. Not because of fallacies (your points seem right on), but rather cause you don't fight fair.
You stereotype to a tee, and then have the gall to put some poor girl's pic up on your site, now putting a face to your accusations. And you didn't want to offend or hurt anyone? Bullshit. Most bloggers I've seen give up some of their personal info and more and more even include their own pic. Where's yours, dipshit? Let's add a new topic to the fire, and see what everyone thinks about you. Stop playing this gay game of Wizard of OZ! You're the P.O. Box Pussy of the internet. I just want to thank you for this blog . . . nothing makes me happier than reading this. I love the irony of you posting emails from these pissed off chicks most likely making them more upset that they are in fact exactly what you are saying. I can actually hear the ass of their Seven jeans splitting in half as they pound low carb / no fat / no sugar whatever ice cream from "tasty D". The greatest thing is how pathetic these girls are which is why I have taken down so many. Bar . . . drinks . . . my bed. An IJC feeling bad for herself is too common and Too damn easy.

Murray Hill is indeed a veritable nest of Jewbitches-an inordinate amount of which, reside in my building. Bringing their inane cell phone shrieking INTO THE LOBBY & ELEVATOR-with absolutely no regard whatsoever for anyone. And they talk to the building staff as if they're dirt.
